From a very young age, Whitney Houston has played a pivotal role in my life. Her music inspired me. Her lyrics touched me. And when I felt alone her music comforted me. Many of those close to me knew about my love for Whitney and have reached out to me after her passing. These conversations have afforded me the opportunity to reflect on my unique relationship with Whitney Houston and her music. Her accomplishments as one of the greatest female vocalists of all time certainly influenced and entertained me over the years. But what's more is the role she has played as my creative inspiration.

The connection I felt to her in San Francisco at the age of 17 has not only carried me through the most challenging of life's trials, but has also been a constant source of creativity that has propelled me forward. I have grown personally and professionally because of her. My career as the VP of Global Advertising Strategy and Content Excellence at Coca-Cola has been influenced by her music as she taught me to tell great stories and execute them flawlessly.

I firmly believe that everyone should find their Whitney. Their source of power and creative inspiration. The impact it can have on a life is beyond words. And while Whitney Houston is no longer with us, I feel incredibly privileged to say that she has made a difference in my life. She may no longer be with us, but her music allows her to live on forever in the hearts of those she has touched. We have lost one of our brightest stars. But I find comfort in knowing that her voice will forever inspire people to burn brighter than they ever thought was humanly possible. You will be greatly missed Ms Whitney Houston. Missed by me and millions like me.
